MURO is a neighborhood trattoria with a contemporary and inclusive spirit. It was born from the desire to create an accessible and welcoming space, where the kitchen becomes a tool for sharing, exchange and identity.
The menu, still being defined, promises a gastronomic narration that draws on Italian tradition without museum reverence, but with the immediacy of comfort food. Affordable prices (starters between 5 and 10 euros, first courses no more than 14 euros and second courses between 12 and 18 euros) demonstrate a clear manifesto: quality is not a privilege, but a right.
Key points of the offer: strictly seasonal ingredients, very short supply chain with producers from the Turin hinterland, a simple but sparkling wine list curated by Federico Verri and dishes that reach everyone straight, without frills or superstructures. It does not want to be a pretentious cuisine or aspire to the world of fine dining: MURO's cuisine simply wants to be good.
“Every wall is a door,” says the host in the dining room Matteo Borgnino (formerly of Luogo Divino and Mara dei Boschi), “everything begins when a wall stops being perceived as a barrier.” A philosophy that summarizes the approach of a group of young professionals from the design, catering and art worlds, determined to restore dignity and attractiveness to a territory that has been marginalized for too long.
