QR QUADRILATERO ROMANO is the gastronomic expression of the entrepreneurial instinct of Elena D'Ambrogio Navone who manages the restaurant together with her son Alessandro Navone.
"I have always been passionate about cooking and for a long time I have been waiting for the opportunity to offer the possibility of trying a familiar, typical, characteristic cuisine. The one that makes you feel good, that gives you "nourishment", and not only from a physical point of view. Finishing a gastronomic experience and feeling satisfied, in short. This is what we look for, in the first person, when we choose a restaurant, and this is what I now want to give to our customers"
QR's proposal is simple and tasty with a menu that ranges from the trio of supplì, to the egg carbonara; it goes from the great classics such as pasta cacio e pepe, grandma's pasta and beans, carbonara and amatriciana to the traditional second courses, coda alla vaccinara, suckling pig, straccetti and saltimbocca alla romana. And to conclude: maritozzo, visciolata and tiramisu. The menu is constantly evolving, based on market availability and seasonality.
Elena D'Ambrogio Navone, entrepreneur, writer and journalist (recently collaborating with Novella 2000), also active in the restaurant sector, has written several novels, including Il volo del colibrì, Un camaleonte gentiluomo and Le notti di Kos, the collection of poems Voci sospese, and the biography of her father-in-law Giuseppe Navone entitled Quando un uomo.
