Bob Noto Award and Buonissima Opening

Buonissima 2024

The Lavazza Cloud Power Station will host the Buonissima official opening and the Bob Noto Award, born within the event in homage to the Turin gastronome and photographer who passed away in 2017. Every year the jury – composed of his wife Antonella Fassio, chefs Ferran Adrià, Davide Scabin and Paolo Griffa, publisher Marco Bolasco, Sara Peirone of Lavazza and the creators of Buonissima – awards the prize to a figure from the world of food who has distinguished himself in a virtue dear to Bob.

In this 2024 the theme is “empathy”.

The aim of the Award is to remember the merits of Bob Noto in the artistic and gastronomic fields and is assigned to the character of the world of gastronomy who has an affinity with the qualities that characterized him. All the facets of his personality - irony, aesthetic sense, irreverence, empathy - are taken as a reference for the assignment of the award.
After the award to Andoni Luis Aduriz for irreverence, to Massimiliano and Raffaele Alajmo for irony and to René Redzepi, chef at Noma in Copenhagen, for creativity, this year the Prize has empathy as its central criterion of choice.

A moment to spend together to celebrate the great figure of the food and wine world and his adventurous and exciting life and thus discover the new frontiers of taste and cuisine.
