Corrado Assenza

Corrado Assenza is one of the most important, influential and well-known Italian pastry chefs, certainly the best-known among the Sicilian ones.

His business developed mainly around Caffè Sicilia, a family business opened in 1892 where Assenza first entered as a waiter, later becoming the point of reference.
One of the pivots on which his work moves is the representation of the territory. Secondly, there is the desire to break the rigid barriers between sweet and salty, arriving at creating products of wise harmony.
