
Christian Costardi
Biography
Born in Vercelli and raised in the kitchen of the Hotel restaurant founded by their grandparents, they stayed here to trace their gastronomic identity. The Christian & Manuel restaurant still represents their “home” today, the place where they were born to go beyond, while remaining anchored to it.
Family and territory are the key words that define them. A starting point to go far. It is a bond that does not prevent them from evolving, traveling and arriving today, in the historic center of Turin, between art and history, to write a new page of their continuous becoming.
Growing up surrounded by rice fields, they have always wanted to convey their Piedmont through the main ingredient that characterizes it: rice, Carnaroli variety.
Telling it in a contemporary way, keeping the Piedmontese tradition alive.
They are so passionate about it that they have an Aironi rice by Costardi Bros, which comes from their personal and careful selection of the best grains and from the meticulous control of their processing, so that it maintains its flavour and all its peculiar personality.
