Michelin StarBiography
Giuseppe Iannotti was born in 1982. He attended the scientific high school that led him to study computer engineering.
In 2007 he interrupted his studies to follow his passion and opened a restaurant in Castelvenere, which already bore the name “Krèsios”. Shortly thereafter he also opened a shop selling gastronomic specialties selected with obsessive care (Krèsios Bottega, in Telese Terme). In 2011 the two projects merged and moved their residence under one roof, that of a family farmhouse just outside Telese, the current Krèsios, now the setting for a gourmet restaurant. Since 2022, the headquarters of the Naples and Intesa San Paolo galleries have been home to: Luminist, Anthill and 177toledo. In 2012 he was awarded the prize for best young Chef by Le Guide de L'Espresso.
In 2013 he joined the Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe (JRE) association, won the 'Premio Vent'anni' awarded by San Pellegrino to an emerging protagonist of the Italian gastronomic scene during the Identità Golose congress and obtained his first Michelin star. In 2017 he was awarded the Innovation in Cuisine Award by the Guide de L'Espresso. Alfredo Buonanno, maître of Krèsios, is best sommelier of the year for the Guida de L'Espresso Ristoranti 2018. He received his second Michelin star in 2021.
