
Massimiliano Prete
Biography
Massimiliano Prete, Chef and owner of Sesto Gusto, experiments with the best ways to combine the great tradition of pizza and the precision of pastry making, the taste for authentic cuisine and constant research on leavened products.
His research starts in Asti in the typical pizzeria Tramonti, to then take over the management of the café-pastry shop PiazzAffari, in the heart of Saluzzo. In 2011 he opened Teatro del Gusto, a restaurant-pizzeria much loved by the people of Saluzzo.
Prete decides to change: he closes PiazzAffari, renovates the place and opens Gusto Divino, one of the first gourmet pizzerias in Piedmont. Then, in 2016 it is the turn of Gusto Madre, in Alba. In 2017 he opens Gusto Madre in the center of Turin. Chef Prete is recognized not only as a pizza chef, but as a leavener.
