Giuseppe Di Iorio was born into a family of Roman and Calabrian origins. He began his career at the Margutta Restaurant and then flew to London to the restaurant of the prestigious Hyde Park Hotel. He returned to Rome first to the Hotel Inghilterra and then to the Parco dei Principi. In 2005 he began to take care of the starred Mirabelle of the Hotel Splendide Royal. Since 2010 he has been the chef at the helm of the Aroma Restaurant. In 2014 he received his first Michelin Star.
Chef Di Iorio's philosophy in the kitchen is concrete, made of creativity, contaminations, passion, technique and respect for the raw material.
