The name is a play on words between French and Piedmontese, between the expression &quot;stupita&quot; (&quot;astonished&quot;) used by Vitello Gioele and the typical Piedmontese veal with toned beef, our signature dish, a constant presence on our menu and now beloved by our customers. The name and logo were created many years ago, well before Il Vitello opened, by Bob Noto, who lovingly interpreted Luisa&#039;s fun and enthusiasm, creating an unmistakable, ingenious, and playful brand that he has enriched with fun interpretations over the years. Il Vitello (as the restaurant is known by its most loyal customers) is located in the heart of Turin, just steps from the city&#039;s most important tourist attractions: the Royal Palace, the Egyptian Museum, the Museum of the Risorgimento, and the Cinema Museum. It is connected to the Porta Nuova and Porta Susa stations by numerous public transport options. The kitchen is open from 12:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
