Since 1994 he has been the host of the daily radio program Hollywood Party (RadioTre).
In 2004 he was appointed director of the National Cinema Museum.
Since 2006 he has been President of the Turin Piedmont Film Commission.
He was Artistic Director of the RomaFictionFest.
He has made various retrospectives including Riccardo Freda (1992), Philippe Garrel (1994), Turin, berceau du cinéma italien (2001), Italian – cinema crosses Italy (2005). Among the main publications Mario Monicelli (La Nuova Italia, Florence, 1986), Mario Mattoli (La Nuova Italia, Florence, 1989), Officina Torinese (Lindau, Turin, 2000), Capitani coraggiosi (Electa, Milan, 2003), L ‘ Brancaleone army (Philip Morris – Lindau, Turin, 2006). As a television writer he made Miracle in Turin (2002), Italy ’70 – Il cinema a mano armata (2004), Strong Men (2006), Venice 68 ‘(2008).
