NATIONAL MUSEUM OF CINEMA
NATIONAL MUSEUM OF CINEMA
The Turin National Museum of Cinema is the only one in Italy and among the most important in the world. It is located inside the Mole Antonelliana, the symbol of the city and was inaugurated in July 2000. It has since become one of the most visited museums in Italy and has gathered international approval. This is due to its large collection (about 1,800,000 pieces) and its peculiar set-up which spirals upwards through several exhibition levels illustrating the history of cinema through posters, props, movie clips and spectacular and evocative sets. The museum is also interactive and several QR codes lead to multimedia content making the visita multisensory, participated and accessible experience.
